Our client was living with mould and damp in more than 3 rooms, faulty windows, a blocked toilet and a leak from the roof which was penetrating into the bathroom below. Our client became increasingly anxious about the state of her home, and was distressed as her countless attempts to request repairs from the landlord had been unsuccessful.

In January 2024, we were instructed to pursue a housing disrepair claim against the landlord, seeking necessary repairs and compensation. Within 9 months we were able to reach an agreement with the landlord for the repairs to be carried out and our client received over £2,500.00 in damages as compensation for the length of time she has been suffering.
